The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan is glad to announce the 5^th International Tatar Language and Literature Competition. We kindly invite Russian and foreign pupils and students to take part in the Competition.

The following categories of participants are selected for the final round:

- pupils of the Republic of Tatarstan according to the results of the final round of regional Tatar Language and Literature competitions held during the current year –this category of participants do not need to take part in the Online Testing Round, they need to contact the Organizing Committee of the Competition (the contact information can be found below);

- pupils of the Russian Federation according to the results of the interregional Tatar Language and Literature competition (the winners and runners-up), which will be held in Kazan in February, 2017 – this category of participants do not need to take part in the Online Testing Round, they need to contact the Organizing Committee of the Competition (the contact information can be found below);

The following categories of participants are selected for the final round on the basis of the Online Testing Round (i.e. this group of participants need to pass the Online Testing Round at abiturient.kpfu.ru):

- foreign students and schoolchildren;

- pupils of Sunday schools of the Russian Federation;

- students of higher education and secondary professional education institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation.

• The participants of the Online Testing Round must register from the 16^th of November until the 21^st of December, 2016

• The Online Testing Round will be held from the 24^st until the 30^th of December, 2016.  The participants can access the Online Testing Round only after they register at abiturient.kpfu.ru in the fixed time period and fill all the necessary form fields according to the Instruction.

Please note that the Organizing Committee has the right to offer an extra task to the Participants of the Online Testing Round if the number of winners exceeds the quota.

The list of the Participants allowed to the final round will have been published at the KFU website abiturient.kpfu.ru or on the Ministry website http://mon.tatarstan.ru by the 10^th of March, 2017 (after holding the final rounds of the republican and interregional Tatar Language and Literature competitions).

•  The final round will be held after the 15^th of April, 2017.

The winners and runners-up of the Competition will be awarded with the Diplomas by the Ministry and valuable presents. Each final round participant will be rewarded with the Certificate of Participation and a souvenir.
